First Day of School 2011

Our baby started 1st grade today. Cole was nervous until he met Mrs. Evans last Thursday. He has so many friends in his class and is super excited to have Mrs. Evans as his teacher. Now if she can just get him to sit still :)
Kade started 3rd grade. He has a rough time with teachers the last couple of years, so we are so excited he is in Mrs. Rexing's class this year. She is phenomenal! He was very concerned about looking good today, and got super embarrassed when his mom kissed him on the playground lol.

The boys start school at 8:00, so Travis and I took them to school before I went home and got the girls ready. They don't start until 9:00. So we didn't get any pictures this year of everyone together :(

This is Max and Will Robinson. They are good friends of Kade's and in his class this year. I think he is the most excited about that!

Cole and "Stage" are in the same class again this year. Her actual name is Sage but he can't seem to say that.
Our 6th grader! Tori did an academy at the Middle School last week and figured it all out so she was more excited than nervous this morning. Although she did say she had butterflies in her tummy on the way to school!

Wow, where did the time go?? How do I have a daughter that looks so grown up! Baylee is starting 8th grade this year. She is one amazing girl and as beautiful on the inside as on the out. She is really looking forward to being "big man on campus" this year. :)

kade boogie boarding

we spent a week at the beach up at carlsbad. we love it there. we went down there with the Johnsons, Horlachers, Pittsenbargers, Andersons, Glens, Princes, Normans, Cranes, Jones's, and Pullan's. we had so much fun!!! everyone was burned... but wishing that we could've stayed longer!!
tori loved the little fake news place they had set up. there was a little monitor that she would read off and a camera.
after i got back from retreat... we went to the kids museum in salt lake. they had this rescue helicopter that the boys LOVED.
this was our adorable counselor rae/callie. each of the counselors each chose a nickname and at the end of the week we got to learn their real names.
i went to this thing called retreat for girls up in logan utah. this was my cute group.
during the hike we had to cross the rope bridge. victoria was super excited... but mom wasn't to thrilled ;)
i loved doing the rope bridge. mom's excuse not to do it was to take pics. the day that we had to leave she said that that was her day that she was planning on going on it.

we went camping up at pine valley, and we went to the monument for the Mountain Meadow Massacre. It was super cool and it was a cool story to hear about. But other than that it was a super sad story!
