The last few months from my phone pictures

Baylee and Emily were both too young to go to Homecoming, but needed to for Student Council so these two and one lucky Tyler went as a group.  NOT a date.
New Year's Eve at Dumont.  We were lucky enough to spend a full week out there this year.  It wasn't busy at all and we had a blast!
Youth Conference I was bribed by some very sweet Senior's to get to be in the same group.  It totally worked.  I am not above being bribed ;)  Besides, if it helped them enjoy Youth Conference a little more then good.
Travis sent me flowers for no other reason than I was having a bad day and he loves me.  I'm such a lucky girl.
Kade and I found this yummy little french cafe.  The food was ok, but oh boy was this dessert yummy.
Youth Conference bonfire saturday night was such a success.  We had a ton of kids show up.  This is just a couple of my favorites.
Tori was still 13 when we had Youth Conference so she couldn't go to the bonfire dance.  But Baylee danced with the cute Chase Horlacher for her.
My mom is the hardest working woman on the planet!  She literally moved 1/2 our house single handed.  I don't know where she gets her energy from, but she can run circles around me.  I can't express how much I appreciate all her help.  Not just all the physical work she did, but the spiritual support through the whole situation.  This picture makes me smile.  We were trying to tell  Baylee we were too exhausted to come get her, but we couldn't stop smiling.
The kids worked incredibly hard during the move as well.  So, of course, we had to be rewarded with ice cream.
Valentines day arrived right in the middle of crazy moving time.  I'm not a fan of the holiday anyway, but it is fun for the kids.  But in all the other craziness that had been going on I completely forgot to get Cole and Kade valentine's for their class.  Kade didn't care, he is in 5th grade and way too mature for stuff like that anyway ;)  But I felt so bad that I had forgotten for Cole, he always seems to get the short end of things being the last child in the family.  So we sent everyone else to school and him and I ran to Target to buy something.  But he decided he would rather spend the day with me and the money on a double chocolately chip from Starbucks than Valentines for his class.  So that's just what we did!
One tradition that we didn't overlook was the red chocolate milk and red pancakes on Valentine's Day.  It was a day off school so we didn't have them until noon, but no one seemed to mind.
I have been spray painting everything since we have moved.  I love this stuff.
I got to go see the the huge cranes that are at the convention center with Travis one afternoon while he was checking on a job.  He thought they were much more interesting that I did.  But it was beautiful weather outside and I got to be with him so I didn't complain.
Zion's Youth rehearsals we try and get a little something special for our favorites.
We had disappointed the kids so often lately with not having time to go do fun stuff that we decided although it was Sunday, we would go out in the desert shooting after church.  Bay finally shot her gun from Grandpa Delmer and loved it.

And we were able to go to this amazing girl's wedding.  She is Baylee's idol and honestly I couldn't pick someone any better for her to strive to be like.  Love her to death and it was so great to see the joy her decisions that let up to this day brought.

Quick overview

I don't even know where to begin!  The #1 thing that has happened to our family is that we have moved.  It wasn't something we thought was going to happen right now, but here we are!  Travis and I decided in the middle of January to maybe we should start looking at some rental houses, just to see if we were going to be able to find anything that a. we could afford and b. that was in the right area so the kids would stay zoned for the same schools and we could stay in our same ward.  We knew it would take a few months to find what would fit and we were definitely in no hurry.  I contacted a friend of ours of Thursday and got a list of all the rentals in our ward boundaries.  There were 4.  1 house was tiny, 2 houses were outrageously out of our budget, but 1 house surprisingly fit and was actually less that what our budget was for rent.  We called the realtor on Friday, looked at the house Friday night, filled out all the rental paperwork on Saturday, and found out Monday we had been approved.  It truly was Heavenly Father's doing. Everything fell into place.  Moving stinks though!

We are in the middle of Zion's Youth right now.  They are doing Lamb of God again and we are so excited!  Most of our family is coming to the concert, which Baylee is absolutely thrilled about.

It's basketball season right now as well.  Tori has games twice a week and practice twice a week.  She is cheer captain this year and loves "being in charge".

Kade is playing club baseball now so no little league for him this season.   Yay!

Cole wants to try something new so he is going to start cello lessons and golf.  If neither of those "fit" I'm sure he will be more than happy to go back to baseball.

Youth Conference was in January this year and it was pretty amazing if I do say so myself.  We did 10 classes on Saturday, then went to Logandale for a bonfire.  I loved every second of it, and I'm pretty sure the youth did too :)

Travis has gone back to school.  He is officially a BYUI student.  He is doing it online and hopefully will graduate in 3 years.  Right now his plan is to go into nursing.  We will see if that is where he ends up.  He is the priest quorum advisor right now and LOVES it.
